Arise Woman Rachel Pheffer

Rachel Pheffer is a Daughter of the King, Mother, Artist, Author, and Business Woman, who uses her resources to advocate for those in need. She is the proud owner of an online boutique called Nuance Style House, where she uses her business as the financial backing for her ministry. Rachel resides in the Kansas City Metro area with her teenage son and fur baby dog.

After four years of owning a traditional storefront boutique, Rachel felt God leading her to move her business online. Her priority had always been to use her business to financially support her and her son, but also to have resources to give back to organizations that support those in need. With the overhead of a brick and mortar store, she was struggling to have time to be a mother, artist, businesswoman, and an advocate for others in need.

Six years ago Rachel made the leap and moved her business online to www.NuanceStyleHouse.com.

She started out doing pop-ups and private boutique parties. To assure she could make a successful transition, she worked a side hustle as a social media consultant with local businesses. After a year of consulting, she noticed that she had shifted her priorities, and her own business was taking a back seat. Knowing her business could not flourish without her focused efforts, she let go of her other pursuits and rededicated herself to Nuance.

With the knowledge that God had called her to create, she turned her focus to her own social media and her own creative endeavors. Currently, she is running all of her business from home in her basement boutique and online. She now has time to create murals and decorate her home boutique to be a place that inspires and invites women to feel comfortable, welcome, and confident while they shop the latest styles alongside her design expertise.

Her newest creation is moving Rachel in an exciting direction. She has developed her own line of art t-shirts under the Urbantique brand that goes towards raising funds and bringing awareness to nonprofit organizations that have a heart for people. Her nonprofit partners include: Exodus Cry, Team World Vision, Safehome, and On Eagles Wings Farm, with plans to add more Urbantique Art Garment Designs and Nonprofit Partners as the movement grows.

With the great success of the Arise Woman Movement, she has plans to partner with local boutiques and business to share the Arise Woman ideals and sell the Art Tees from the collection.

Working to create awareness and fundraising for Exodus Cry, $5.00 of each Arise Bird Art Tees and Arise Bird Tank sales will be donated.

Helping the fundraising efforts of On Eagles Wings Farms, which is working to create a safe home for foster care children and families in need in Kansas City, Kansas, Rachel is using the Arise Mountain Tees, Tanks, and Hoodies to contribute.

The first Art Tee ever created, the Live Love Tee, will be used to raise funds and awareness for different organizations throughout the year.

At pop-up boutiques and events, she will share the message of each organization, as well as the inspiration they bring that caused her to create these unique clothing items. Then when they are purchased by customers, Nuance Style House will donate the $5.00 of each sale to the different organizations.

Raising funds and sharing the message of Safehome of Kansas, she has created:

Serving the fundraising needs of Team World Vision.  Her hoodies and tanks display Fearless Cross, capturing the heart of the organization. Rachel has partnered with Becca Dawson who is running for Team World Vision. To learn more about Becca and the organization please read our Arise Woman Blog posts.
